Baby it's cold outside!

We're expecting somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 inch of ice tonight, it's sleeting now, and we may get some snow too.. It's frigid out!!! But to take my mind off the weather (and my cold toes) I'm posting some great summer shots! Oh.. if any of my family is peeking into the blog, some of these images may look familiar when you get your calendar.. ha ha ha!

In the summer I frequent my neighbor's yard, they have tons of flowers and there's something constantly blooming back there. I love these!


I distinctly remember taking this picture. My daughter ran into the house and yelled "Mom, the clouds look like popcorn today" and they did! This is a sure sign of a summer shot!



And for my all time favorite place to shoot landscapes, the Maskunky Marsh. I love this place! But it doesn't love me, I come home covered in bugbites, it's terrible.. but worth it for the shots I get!

Remember Don and Melinda and of course Scooter? Well, this is their Grandaughter who's visiting from out of state. She was fast and of course did the opposite of what needed her to do, but I still got some great shots :)




We asked her to pray and we got this.. isn't it adorable?

Noe

Meet Noe! Noe and his family are some of the bravest people I know. Noe was diagnosed in June with Medulloblastoma. Noe's Mom Jenn is friends with the daughter of one of my online friends. Jenn's friend wanted to give the family some pictures for Christmas and I was in the area, so I supplied the pictures! Even though on my way, some guy threatened to call security.. what an ordeal!

Noe was on the run! I like this cute candid.. He was fast!



I was taking pictures of C and his sister A just sat down beside him and I got this! How cute!


I love how bonded these two are.. how cute!

Today is a very special day at our house. It's my brother Josh's birthday, my son Austin's birthday, and my Grandpa's birthday. Isn't that cool, 3 generations on one day?!

Meet Mason, Jaden and Katelyn!

I work with their mom at the hospital and we've been trying to have this shoot for a few weeks now, but something always came up, most of the time it was weather related! Today it was far cooler than the weather forcast said earlier in the week, but the kids and Cara and even their dog Chloe were troopers and we did the shoot at Edmundson Park. The lighting was beautiful and I was thankful to have enough shadowing to do some black and whites!
