Meet Jordan, he's a senior at the Oskaloosa High School. We had outdoor pictures planned today, but the driving monsoon we had today cancelled those plans, so we set up in Jordan's living room and did some pictures.
All I have to say is.. The guys I went to high school never looked like this.
Whitnie and Brian are one of my 2010 wedding couples, and it was great getting to know them tonight. We hit the Pella area and had a great time. They were up for anything so I tried some new stuff with them, we actually shot a majority of the shoot in the dark, which was great. I found a great phone booth last weekend and they let me do some neat off camera stuff in the booth with them. Thanks Brian for helping me with the flash (I was too short to put it up on the door jam--ha ha) I had a great time taking your pictures, and thanks for not laughing at me when I fell.. ha ha.. I am so clumbsy!
I work with Megan and she's one of my Facebook friends, but I've never met her until tonight. Tonight I got to meet her and her son, Conner and they are both awesome to hang out with. We had so much fun running around Pella taking pictures. She sure has her hands full with this little cutie!!
I LUV this one! He is absolutely adorable!!
A few silly ones. Hmm. wonder what was going on behind me.. ha ha
Our family friends, Bryan, Angie, and Zachary, went on the searach of great fall color this weekend and we found it!!! What a difference a week makes! Best part is, I got to hang out with them after the shoot and watch the Hawkeyes win another game.
She didn't want to sit still for anything (who wants to sit still when you can explore?), but I got some great shots of her and her family. Little K is adorable, as was her little brother, Nick.
Bubbles.. A sure way to make a kid do goofy things! :) Cute!
Catherine and Pat are an awesome couple and I've gotten to know them both a lot on Facebook since I took their engagement pictures this spring, so it almost felt like I was photographing friends yesterday. They are so awesome..
They got married at the St. Mary's Church in Oskaloosa and their reception was at the Legion.
Yah, you've seen Sarah before. She and her new husband Jason got married in July and are featured on the blog for their wedding and their engagement session. Sarah was such a great model and with all the wedding plans, we've gotten to be friends, so I asked her to model for the Forever Photography team, let me tell 'ya we all had a blast and got some killer shots.
Sarah is featured in professional hair by by Abby Bowker and professional makeup by Racheal Ebelsheiser, both of Expressions Hair Studio. Her flowers are from Hy-Vee floral. A special thanks also goes out to Dana and Laura who came along to shoot and assist. These pictures are an assortment of pics from all of our cameras.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in any way in the shoot..
