Happy Halloween everyone!!
Here are some pics of my kids.. We don't usually dress up on Halloween because the kids' birthdays are all coming up within the next 7 weeks, but this year we decided to. It was a lot of fun!
Grace was a hodge podge of things.. she wanted a black wig with glow in the dark blonde streaks, a black dress, and makeup on her face. I think she looks like the girl from the Adams Family.. I always get her name wrong, but it's a day of the week.. LOL
Justyce was Jeff Gordon who is his dad's least favorite driver.. LOL!!!
Austin was a glow in the dark skeleton which was very cool and scary with that mask!
We went to Mahaska Drug and stood in line for 1 1/2 hours to get a bucket of candy, but it was a lot of fun anyway. Boy those fries from Wendy's smell good when you're hungry!
Then.... We got calls from my neice and nephew and they came over to show of their outfits.. so we got a very impromptu picture. It's not the best picture in the world but it was cold out and it was hard getting all the kids to look at me!!!

Mandy & Paul
Meet Mandy and Paul!
Mandy and Paul were relaxed and calm and were so very much in love and it shows in the pictures. I had the urge to apply some unique textures and colors to some of the images, I had a lot of fun with these.
I helped Erik shoot this wedding yesterday, October 25th and I have to say, it was a complete blast. Inspired Images Follow the link on over to his blog and see what kinds of great stuff he has on his blog. He has some great sunflare shots that I'm in extreme jealousy over. They turned out incredibly cool!
I responded to a "Hey You!" and got this great candid of the groom and his friend!
As always, free free to post comments on the blog!
Mandy and Paul, have a great honeymoon and a great life together !

Tanner
You got to meet Tanner a few weeks ago, but he's baaaaack.. This time for his senior pictures (last time I got to photograph his football game) Tanner's my cousin, but we apparently don't share any genes for height.. He's tall! He and his mom treked down here from the Tama area. We went to the junkyard for pictures, which turned out awesome, then we did some urban stuff in the alleys of Osky, and then went to Keomah to take some more pictures.
Here are a few :)
alright, I added 2 more of my favorites just to tease you a little bit more.

The Wheelers
Meet Scooter, Don, and Melinda!
Melinda works with me at the hospital and we met because we always leave the hospital at the same time, every day! I see Melinda everywhere!
I was worried about the weather all day, but it looked like it would be okay out, at least we didn't have to contend with the sun! It was pretty dark and dreary and it started to sprinkle, but the Wheelers were troopers and it quickly stopped raining. The lake was gorgeous, and so very still, the reflections in the water were great!
Don, I hope you don't think I was too crazy laying in the road to get the shot of you guys and Scooter! It was way worth it!
Here you go guys, a sneak peek!

JMK
Okay, I have a non business related post (another one) LOL! This is a JMK (Just My Kid) post.
I found a cool fall leaves spot to take pictures and here are some from our shoot. My kids rarely hold still for me long enough to take their pictures, so they are very challenging for me.
I had them try the "jump shot" I think it's histerical! You just have to know Justyce to know why he turned around while jumping!
All of the kids had fun building a leaf pile and jumping in it. here are some of the better ones.

Shauna & Dusty
This couple looked so much in love.. You can tell it by many of the pictures! Shauna was a super nice and very relaxed bride, and that's hard to be on your wedding day. The bridal party rode in style to Jester Park to take the outdoor formal pictures, they rode in a Cyclone Bus! Although I'm a Hawks fan, this was pretty cool. Even cooler was the bus driver was wearing a Hawkeye shirt.. Histerical!
It was an absolute perfect day to get married!!
I shot these images with Erik from Inspired Images Follow the link on over to his blog and see what kinds of great stuff he has on his blog.
Here are some of the many great pictures I loved!

Christina and Tim
Meet Christina and Tim!
It was a beautiful day out, it was perfect for a wedding :) I have so many images, it was really hard to find just a few for the blog!
I was second shooting with Erik again, this time I was in charge of the ladies details shots.. I hung out with them while they were getting their hair and nails done and just fooling around in general. Christina has a great group of friends!!!
If you wanna check out Erik's website, here it is: www.inspired-images.net
My hat's off to Tara (Erik's wife) who I called on the fly when a road was closed. She was awesome at directions!
Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment
