Beautiful Wedding

I had the opportunity to second shoot with the awesome Erik Notz with Inspired Inspirations based out of Ankeny, Iowa, a few weeks back. I love
Des Moines weddings since I can shoot at locations I don't get to shoot at around here, Des Moines is full of spectacular locations.

This time the ceremony and getting ready pictures were taken at Salisbury House
which I had never been to, but it was g.orgeou.s!

We hung the dress in the dressing room. One of the bridesmaids hung it up there for me, but I had to climb on a chair to retrieve it. ha ha. It's so much fun being short *sarcasm*

I had a great opportunity to second shoot with Erik from www.inspired-images.net yesterday. This couple got had their reception at Glen Oaks Country Club and it was an absolutely beautiful wedding! Her dress was gorgeous!

Jodi & Eric

Yesterday, Erik and I shot Jodi & Eric's wedding. The church was at St. John's Lutheran Church and reception was at Glen Oaks Country Club and both venues were gorgeous!

Kendra & David

I was excited to second shoot with Kendra and David's wedding yesterday, their wedding with well planned and absolutely gorgeous, I loved thier colors, pink and green, it made for a very pretty wedding.

I had a hard time deciding which images to put on the blog, I got some really great stuff! Since Erik put up a bunch of shots of the bride and groom, I'm going to put up some entirely different stuff.

Instead of bubbles, the couple had their guests throw green and pink confetti. Very cool idea!


Kendra dyed her petticoat in her dryer herself. It turned out so cool!




One of the Groomsmen, Colin, was very protective of the rings, so he came along as I did ring shots. Thanks Colin!

I had the pleasure of shooting this gorgeous wedding with Erik on Saturday. Everything about the day was absolutely beautiful; the weather, the bride,--everything. We had a large gap of time between the ceremony and the reception, so we tried out several really nice locations.

Mandy & Paul

Meet Mandy and Paul!

Mandy and Paul were relaxed and calm and were so very much in love and it shows in the pictures. I had the urge to apply some unique textures and colors to some of the images, I had a lot of fun with these.

I helped Erik shoot this wedding yesterday, October 25th and I have to say, it was a complete blast. Inspired Images Follow the link on over to his blog and see what kinds of great stuff he has on his blog. He has some great sunflare shots that I'm in extreme jealousy over. They turned out incredibly cool!






I responded to a "Hey You!" and got this great candid of the groom and his friend!

Meet Christina and Tim!
It was a beautiful day out, it was perfect for a wedding :) I have so many images, it was really hard to find just a few for the blog!

I was second shooting with Erik again, this time I was in charge of the ladies details shots.. I hung out with them while they were getting their hair and nails done and just fooling around in general. Christina has a great group of friends!!!
