It was sooooo hot out for this shoot, but this family was awesome! We had a sick little boy, but he was such an angel, so was his sister! We shot fast but got some really great images.

Terryk

What an awesome kid! He stole my heart with his WWE moves (his favorites wrestlers are all of my favorites!), his adorable smile with a couple of teeth missing, and his great personality.

We started out the session with some fun WWE moves, then did some pictures with his football and then we ended up in a mud puddle (how did that happen?) ha ha, the mud puddle was unplanned but still tons of fun. :)

Terryk was a trooper, still posing it up even as frisbees whizzed over our heads and the park filled up with kids going to the prom that evening.

ice, rain, and fog won't keep us down!

Twas an interesting day in the weather department for sure.. The morning was filled with ice and rain but by the afternoon the ice had melted and a thick fog came in... But Tara and her son were troopers and we got some great stuff! Guess what happened after the shoot?--yeah-the sun came out! I sure am glad the ice melted in time for New Years Eve festivities!

Who would have thought we'd find some pretty fall gold color on NYE? ha ha..

Operation Love Reunited

I got the chance to shoot another OP Love session. I love OP Love sessions !! This family came from the Des Moines area and we went to Edmundson Park in Oskaloosa to take their pictures. Take a look at these two cuties!!

Twins!

This adorable family received a gift certificate for a session and we've been trying to do the session for awhile now, but we could never connect. They in fact had a Saturday session but it poured down rain, so we rescheduled for Sunday but it wasn't the nicest or the warmest day to shoot pictures, but we couldn't risk canceling the session again, so they braved the elements and we got some really cute pictures of the twins..

Williams Family

I had the opportunity to take my cousin and his family's pictures this weekend. I took Tanner's senior pictures last summer, they drove down all the way from Tama both times, they are awesome! We had a lot of fun, as you can see!

Emily & Mason

Emily & Mason's family was back visiting family here in Iowa from the east coast, I'm so happy they scheduled an appointment for some family pictures while they were back!

I had so much fun following them around Edmundson Park, first we started out with the serious pic, then we just let them run and that's when the fun, candid action started happening.

Catherine & Pat

Catherine and Pat are one of my wedding couples this fall, they are such a great looking couple and were very easy to work with. They live in Dyersville and are getting married in Osky, and were back for Tulip Time so it was a great date to get their pictures while they were in town. We wandered around Edmundson park for awhile getting a lot of great shots.

Hey guys, thanks for putting up with the wind in a few shots, Catherine, your hair was perfect for the windy pictures! Okay, Pat, yours was too!
