Zach

Tonight I did a session for some friends of ours and they were so much fun. Zach's mom had sent me an email that she wanted a cowboy session and she had some props and a horse she wanted to use. My reply was "a real horse?" ha ha.. Yes, a real horse! Angie has some friends who let us use their horse Buster for the shoot. Buster was awesome!!!!!

As always with my shoots, drama and fun followed.. I layed down in the pasture to shoot a shot and was concentrating when before I realize it, there's a dog right in my face licking me.. I about died laughing. Someone (not me) got a fat lip when she got hit in the face with a cowboy hat.. But luckily no one stepped in a pile of horse poo. I was sure one of us was going to... :)

Tonight there is a little boy who is exhausted from his shoot with a horse named Buster...

Ronin--4 months

I still can't believe he's 4 months already! But he is.. And he looks exactly like his dad-don't you think? And I love his spiked hair--ha ha!

A perfect little spit bubble.. ha ha!

Here are 2 of Ronin's BFF's..

Dayton

Yesterday, I did sessions with Ronin and Dayton seperately and then some fun stuff together and we also added another little friend and you'll see the group pictures soon.

Isn't he a little cutie! He had so many adorable expressions during this session-what an adorable little boy. We did this session at Lake Keomah, the light was perfect out because it was overcast, although it was pretty hot and sticky. Dayton and his parents were troopers and we got some great pictures!

I'm going to warn you now, there's a blooper reel at the end of this post, so make sure you're ready to laugh. I will not be responsible for any computer damage after you spit out iced tea on your screen.. :)

I love the confident look he gives in this shot.. I think he's thinking "yup, I'm cool. I can stand up!"

Okay for the bloopers..

Vivianne

Vivianne is the daughter of one of my wedding couples from last year. What an adorable little addition to their family! We did pictures at Vivianne's grandparents' house in Keomah Village in the same area we did a bunch of their wedding pictures. How cool!

Um.. my favorite.. I love her scrunchy nose!

This christening gown has been in the family for over 100 years. How incredibly cool is that?

I love how she's sticking out her tongue.. ha ha.

Derrick

This is Derrick. I met his dad through my day job, he was a student and spent several weeks in our department--I got to teach him all of my bad habits and he still likes me afterwards :) Derrick and his mom and girlfriend and I went out to Lake Keomah for some pictures. As I got to the location, I warned everyone that the steps were super slippery and to watch out.. A few seconds later, I was flat on my back hitting my head on the stairs as I landed. OUCH! But have no fear, the camera is safe :) I was soooo embarrased, but thank God they were very cool people and I soon forgot that my jeans and t-shirt were completely soaked in water. We actually did have some fun during this shoot and got some really cool pictures.. Take a look-see!
