Preston (9 months)

Wow.. I love fall.. And this is why I love fall, the beautiful colors, the crisp air.. Everything about fall !

So here's Preston's 9 month pictures, including him in his cuter than cute halloween costume.. Adorable!!! Preston was such a good boy today, we got a ton of great pictures of him!

Cale

Cale and his family are awesome :) No, really, they are. They live in Texas and came back to visit with family and friends and had me do Cale's pictures again--how awesome is that? They decided they wanted to visit the junkyard for Cale's pictures--how could I turn down my favorite place to shoot? :)

Cale was full of energy but didn't know exactly what to do with it, so we figured out the best way to get his attention was to let him throw rocks at his dad. I timed the shots and got the huge smile that came after he hit his dad with the rocks. I think I collapsed in laughter a few times too. :) Tim, thanks for not letting any hit me or the camera :)

He just hit his dad.. lol. Tim was very dramatic.. ha ha.. Some of those rocks had to hurt though :)


So there was this field next to the junkyard.. So the Texas boy had to go in it and the lighting was specatcular! Cale told jokes and silly stories.. He was a riot!





What happens when you tell a 3 yr old to sit down in a corn field? This!


Thank you again Natasha, Tim, and Cale for adding a stop for pictures during your busy trip back to Iowa. It truely does mean a lot to me. I love seeing Cale grow!

Junkyard Boy

This is my son, Justyce. He's my middle child and he LOVES cars. He has literally hundreds of hot wheels and he loves to look at old cars, so I took him to the most logical place to look at them up close and person--the junkyard. What a great place for me to bond with my son. :)

Big Girl!

Oh my gosh, isn't she cute? !! She's the daughter of one of my friends, Racheal. We met up at Smokey Row in Osky, and we pretty much let her do her thing up there and I shot some candids of her while she explored the place. A special thanks to Smokey Row, they put a birthday sign for her up on the marquee.

Grace

I took these pics out at Keomah of my daughter.. She's growing up so fast..!! I was out scouting for wedding picture locations and found this great place and the light is fantastic here about sunset...

I got about 15 minutes worth of shooting in and she was done and wanted my camera to take pictures of me.. The funny thing is.. She made me do every pose I made her do, which was hilarious to the joggers and people fishing..ha ha..

Emily & Mason

Emily & Mason's family was back visiting family here in Iowa from the east coast, I'm so happy they scheduled an appointment for some family pictures while they were back!

I had so much fun following them around Edmundson Park, first we started out with the serious pic, then we just let them run and that's when the fun, candid action started happening.

Isn't she cute? She changes expressions constantly! adorable adorable adorable! I set these up in my house and did some natural light shooting. The weather was perfect for the natural light setup.
