What is....

What is a mini session?

A mini session is for the client who just needs a few pictures, but doesn't want a ton to choose from. Mini sessions are only different from a full session in the amount of time it takes to shoot them and the amount of proofs you get to choose from.

Mini sessions take about 30 minutes (give or take) and you will have approximately 12 proofs to choose from.

Mini sessions are not available for newborns.

Family....

Ashley won a contest last month on my Facebook page and won a free session. She brought her family in and it was a beautiful evening out, so we did some pictures behind the studio and then come inside for some once it started to get dark out. It was so nice to meet her and her cute little family!

Wow! what a difference a few weeks makes, it is super green out now and there are leaves growing in on the trees now..

More Glamour...

Stacey came in to the studio a few weeks back and was wanting to do a session to surprise her husband. So we did got her all made up with professional hair and makeup by Alexis Hanselman from Southern Charm Salon in New Sharon.

Stacey was a natural in front of the camera and we got some really good images to surprise her husband with.

Thanks so much, Stacey for coming in and thanks Allie for doing hair and makeup for us!

Lynzi

Oh my gosh, the story I can tell about getting this session done! LOL.

Lynzi is a shy one, so the first session didn't go so swell, she did a lot of very sober looks, so her parents came back with comedy reinforcements (siblings), shortly after that session, my camera died and I found out later it was shutter death--the dreaded error 99, so I borrowed a body from a fantastic friend until my new one arrives (hopefully today). On the date of reschedule, things went perfectly--she warmed up well and we had soooo much fun and I got tons of smiles! Lynzi and I are almost friends! LOL. I am so thankful the stars and planets all aligned and we got some great stuff!

Okay, there was a little drama... But not a lot :) I promise I am not mean!
Not a smile, but I like this one anyway :)

Averie

Little Averie came in to see me at the studio this weekend, I have photographed her and her family before, but never got much of a smile from her because it takes her a little while to warm up to me. However, this time--we got smiles! I was so excited to upload my card and see what I got this time! Boy was I suprised, she did awesome and I was able to capture a lot of her personality--I am so excited!

my favorite!

I am finally getting to use this backdrop I bought forever ago. :)

She is trying to escape and has her eyes on her escape route ! LOL.

Winegar Family

The Winegar family came to the studio this weekend for pictures. They are so much fun. :) It is so neat to see such a large family get along so well. First we did pictures of each child, which was awesome, but then I broke out the silly booth stuff and it was so much fun to watch them play together. Silly string was a blast to do :)

We did do some serious stuff.. :)

And now to the fun stuff..

a few photobooth fun images.

Post silly string and fun. :) Look at all the silly string on the floor.

Thanks for coming in guys, can't wait to see you Wednesday.

Kelly

So here are some fun images !

New studio

I know I'm late announcing it here, but we have moved into a brand new studio in town and are finally at a place where we can post pictures! We're still getting stuff on the walls and finalizing everything, but I really really want to show you what we've been up to for the last few weeks!

Here it is from the front...

Here is the view once you enter the front door.. mid way through the paint.

Here it is now.

This wall is across from the door as you walk in..

This wall was green when we moved in...

And with all the pictures hung...

Here is a look at my seating area in the back of the main room.

Midway through the work...

Done! I hung these pictures on Wednesday.

Here it is after paint, before any decorating.. this wall was red before.

And now... Hubby hung this pallet for me yesterday. It will eventually house products we carry.

A close-up of the pallet.

If you're standing in the back of the room and looking towards the front of the room, here is the view.. This wall is the only wall that is the original color, we just put another coat of paint on it.

This is the shooting room, it is a long, rectangular shaped room, perfect for shooting. This is the view from the back of the room. The door on the left goes to the main room.

Here is the room completely painted. When the backdrop is up, it covers the purple door.

Here it is with a blue backdrop set up at night. My daughter is modeling-ha ha.
